If we intall anything, for now it will just be a facsimile to get it as close as possible to its 1940 appearance. Flangers do not need to be used often anyway. Many Rio Grande locomotives never had them. They can cause a lot of trouble, too, especially if you go through a switch or a crossing with the blades down! Right now we are looking at only one day of winter service, and no agreement with the railroad regarding such a run exists yet.
