I agree with Ed -
Roger's pics, and also Dan Robirds' of the Sumpter Valley, ROW Explorer's of the C&TS, Chiatzi473's of #315, etc., etc., are great! But as a cantankerous old curmudgeon on a fixed retirement income and - like Ed - still on a dial-up system, I don't get to enjoy very many of them as they often take two or even three minutes per picture to download ...
Scott Turner, who - like Roger - earns at least part of his income from his digital images business, has pointed out that for screen display (as opposed to prints), there is little to be lost in image quality and much to be gained in download speed if the images are saved at a .jpg comression level of 10, 15 or sometimes even 20.
