Let us know if you get some information. Not to many people have visited El Salvador lately that have posted. With the description of the scrapping of the BFC line in Panama and the high price for scrap, one can only imagine that scrap dealers are searching for big piles of easy scrap.
In the last three or four years El Salavador, Guatemala, Honduras and maybe about 10 years ago Nicgarugua have closed. Nicarugua scrapped it's 42 inch gauge line because congress had special interest group that favored truckers. Much like the fate that the above lines face.
