Connection issues

If you don't know how computers work, and don't care to, you can ignore this post completely.

As has been noted in another thread, there are occasions when some people can't access the board. This seems to be a Domain Name Server issue. After a little Googling, I found Open DNS which is a free public DNS server which you can use instead of the one your ISP uses. Scott Turner was having this connection problem and gallantly volunteered to test Open DNS and said it fixed things up for him, and maybe even worked better than his ISP's DNS server.

At the moment this seems to be the best work-around for this problem. I have no idea how reliable Open DNS is, but it is at least an option.
