Hi Werner,
I'm going to sorta bust your bubble on this. A few months back Larry Larson and myself did a remeasure job on this car. If it was an immagrint sleeperthere are no visable signs left the interior was boarded up during it's life as a MOW car we peeled back some of this and found an offset center baggage door and a smller door on both sides indicating it was one of the early mail-baggage cars the clerrestory is from some other car the metal bows for the original flat round roof are still intact with wooden wedges attached to them and the newer roof on top. We also found that what looks to be old outside sliding doors no where match up to the older interior baggage doos have no answer to that . T he underbody still carries all the old hangers for the old brake system but now has a freight style K brake in it's place, the frame had been repaired many times looks like it got broken up in derailments there are splices on both ends and 2 different body bolsters one looks to be original wood the other is a composite wood and steel.
When Larry gets the drawings done I'll send you a copy.
