New C&TS Logo? What gives?

Have I been asleep and missed something? The agenda topic for the upcoming Commission meeting concerning a new C&TS logo caught me in my unawares. This is the first I have heard of such a proposal.
This immediately raises questions in my mind. Whose idea is this? What does it look like? Has there been any attempt to float this idea by the community at large rather than in the FRIENDS heirarchy before submitting it to the Commission?
