I was thinking that the C&TS should seriously look at strengthing Labato trestle. I think this would not only ensure stability, but also cut down on the wear and tear on locomotives from having to stop and start on the 4% grade. I was also thinking it would be interesting if the 3rd rail was reinstalled between Antonito and Alamosa-I understand that the line from Alamosa to Creede is going to be usable again. I see and early morning train departing Antonito bound for Creede. This would bring another element to the railroad, which I think would help profits. Let me know what you think.
