I'm looking for a list and explanation of the hand signals that are used in railroad operations, i.e. the signals used as an engine is backing up to couple with cars, etc. I found a site on the net that had a list for some east coast railroads (link posted at the bottom). Would that be the same for C&T or does each railroad have it's own dialect, so to speak.
I remember seeing this once before in a book or magazine, but can't seem to find it now.
I knew this would be the place to bring this question. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy Ross
