Narrow Gauge Manufacturing today

September 02, 2007 11:38AM
There are still narrow gauge railroads operating in other parts of the world today that are about as modern as one can expect such an operation to be.

When these companies need new equipment, locomotives and rolling stock, where do they turn to purchase these items?

Does GE still make the Shovel nose styled locomotive the White Pass uses? I know these were made for export and went to various railroads around the world.
