Thanks for posting the photos Bret. One of these days I am gonna take the time to walk around Tipton. I have driven by probably 50 or more times, and never taken the time to stop and look around. Now that I am going off the Board, I may have time to do some grade hiking and looking around the old ROW.

Gail is planning to interview a Prairie City rancher who may have some stories to tell about the SVRy. He is in his 90's and his son owns the property that the SVRy ran through east of Prairie City. I think he owned it at the time the railroad was operating. I'll let everyone know how the interview goes. She hopes to do it this coming weekend while I am on duty.
