I see the possibility of two things in the picture
1st would be a broken part to a switch. Or part of the reach bar that ultimately connects the moving rails or points to a switch stand
2nd would be a broken part to a great shaking assembly A part that connects the shaker lever to the train of great arms or levers off the bottom of the greats.
I think I have done a not so great job of spelling great, o well.
