I can't remember the exact issue (I'm not at home now or else I would just look it up) but back in the early 70's MR did a great two-part article on the K-27's, complete with photos of the underframe taken while 463 was being shipped to Antonito from it's previous owner, Gene Autry. This should give you most of the information you asked for. Incidently, these drawings were used to help design the legendary PFM/Iron Horse On3 Kodama K-27's that came out just afterwards...
