Actually, ya'll have hit on something when you talk about putting chairs in the open air....
Down in South Texas, the really goofy ... uh ... good ... dove and quail hunters have this "cool" rig. They mount a pair of bass boat pedestal chairs on a simple platform. They then mount that platform on the front of their pickup/ jeep/ suburban/ hummer.
When it comes time to use the rig, the two sober ones get up front and strap on a seat belt. The other mostly sober guys put the most un-sober guy behind the wheel. He takes off cross the pasture and through the brush, while the guys up front try and blast anything that flies up in front of them.
Just picture it...
...you and your best buddy on a hunting expedition...
...sitting in big padded rattan chairs strapped on the front steps of 463
That's mountain narrow gauge at it's best!
