The Friends of 169 Group had a table display at least year's (2006) Railfest/Narrow Gauge Convention show at the Durango fairgrounds. The group was giving away one-page calendars showing #169.
They also used to have an active website at [
www.friendsof169.org] ; however, that domain has been displaying a "domain parked" message since 2004. I don't know why their website is no longer active -- perhaps the member who registered the website is no longer with the group, causing them to lose the registration?
However, 2002 versions of the Friends of 169 website were saved by the Wayback Engine, so you should be able to see them here:
[
web.archive.org]
I hope this helps!
