All equipment has been stored and maintained "al fresco," with the exception of the brief period the lokies resided in the c.1787 stone asistencia. It was jokingly referred to at the time as the "oldest enginehouse in America."

The extensions proposed by the owner, Rob Rossi, would take the line towards Highway 101 in one direction and the coast line/El Camino Real in the other. Can't beat that kind of advertising. Although the ranch in its entirety is 14,000+ acres, the portion on which the railroad resides is isolated by El Camino/101/the UP, so expansion is somewhat limited. Too bad, as there's a great change in scenery heading towards the lake.

Grading has already started (see blog) for the yard. Phil can elaborate on the latest progress.
