At the risk of beating a dead iron horse, I came across another interesting search result. I couldn't remember the name of the Rio Grande Scenic RR's website, so I typed the words alamosa and train into google. The first item that popped up was a *Sponsored* link for www.alamosatrain.com. Next comes google's "Local results for train near Alamosa, CO", which gives three results labeled "A", "B" and "C":
a - is www.georgetownlooprr.com
b - is the map location, via maps.google.com, for the San Lois & Rio Grande RR
c - is the map location, via maps.google.com, for the San Luis Central Railroad Co.
After the "Local business results" comes the link to the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad's official site, www.alamosatrain.com
Think about that for a second -- a search for a train ride in Alamosa gives a link to the official CHS Georgetown loop site. People who don't understand that getting this ranking is out of CHS's control might ask why the tax-supported CHS site stealing business away from the tax-paying Alamosa community...
Meanwhile, a MSN search for "alamosa train" gives www.alamosatrain.com as its first two results.
