Christmas Tree Park

It looks like there is going to be a similar agreement between the railroad and the village for the land that the railroad owns across highway 17 and west from the the south exit from the yard. The Village wants to use it for another park and for the location for the village live Christmas tree. This was discussed at the last commission meeting and our mayor was told bring a proposal to the commission. They were talking about a long term lease. All the commissioners IMHO seemed to agree that this was a good idea. The AG also gave them some ideas on how they could do this.

I figured I better post this information so when it comes up again everyone won't be surprised and think things are being done behind their back.
