We ran an extra day on July 2 for the land owners at Forbes Park. They own all the property from Sierra to Fir. They are pretty nice folks, so we ran an extra day for them. We picked them up at Sierra. Here 1744 patiently awaits a highball at Sierra:

Lately we have been giving the weekday riders a treat by hauling fill-shouldering material in an air dump car in the passenger train. The train stops at the dumping point, uncouples from the passenger cars, pulls ahead to dump the car, recouples and heads on its way. Ready to leave Alamosa:

It took about 10 minutes to dump and we were back underway:
