From current experience, I know how difficult it is to operate a museum. But, if anyone can do it, it will be the Friends. It is an essential portion of the education side of the business.

One part that will be needed is a rotating photographic exhibit including things like life on the railroad, operations, maintenance and such. Some of your photos will fill this need.

While I'm rambling, you could work on something along this to bee posted on the friends website. With the appropriate comment from Earl and others, you could make a presentation for John Q Public to view.

Having something like this in place can also be used in a presentation for donors. Most will know little about railroading, or why it should be preserved. Something short, to the point, with appeal to the under-educated individual.
