The 1971 schedule was rather complex. It consisted of round trips from one terminal followed by a one way ferry move from one end to the other with bus return transportation. Then more round trips, followed by another ferry move a couple weeks later. Round trips were Chama to Big Horn and Antonito to Cumbres. Trains ran 2-4 times a week.
In August The schedule was expanded to include more trips including a day of Cumbres Turns from Chama, a Chama to Los Pinos round trip and I think a Antonito to Big Horn round trip.
484 was the prime motive power. 483 was stll in it's "Good Guys and Bad Guys" movie paint until September. I have shots of it painted wierd in early August.
