I spent about a week in 1983 roaming around Puerto Rico (great place) and didn't see a sign of any railroads. So, I assumed there were never any lines there. Years later I heard that, indeed, at one time, there was a system. There was maybe even an engine stuffed and mounted somewhere. Anyone have any details that they might share? Why meter gauged as the US owned the PR since 1898!
