I see that the passenger conductor and trainmen worked two divisions as was the usual proceedure. Alva Lyons said that Alamosa crews handled the San Juan condcutor and traimen jobs although he was the conductor on the Chama-Dulce version.
It looks like the engine crew assignment was a regular chain gang job as Frank Howe, with a 1923 senority date, was nowhere near the top of the list. I imagine Lyons was condcutor to Silverton with Roy Buchannon as engineer. In the 1950s the Silverton season didn't begin until June. The mixed ran three days a week on other occasions.
