Thanks for the links. I knoew the old Hohenzollern "Paulo" and one of the 0-6-2s was preserved, but didn't know THREE of the 0-6-2s were saved. All that repair work... How much track do they run on and how often?
The "Paulo" has to be one of the very few European-built locomotives to spend its entire operating life in the United States (yeah, I know Hawaii was a kingdom when the locomotive was delivered). Anyone know of other Euro engines that are lifetime residents?
