Jim is absolutely right, Ticket to Toltec says 1897. So does the Historic Preservation Study by Wilson and Glover. (P. 49) In fact, the Friends walking tour brochure seems to quote almost verbatim what is written By Wilson and Glover except for the date being different which leads me to believe that the date of 1907 in the walking tour brochure is perhaps just a mistake.
Unless somebody knows something different, I would think that the date of "Around 1897" given by both Ticket to Toltec and The Historic Preservation Study is the correct date.
