Well, it wasn't like Dr. McCoy was standing there saying "Dammit Jim! I'm a Doctor, not a blacksmith". 484 really looked pretty good to this South Texan who doesn't know snow from Bo.
The saddest part for me was just that Chama itself was pretty slow. Vera's only had a couple of tables busy, and most shops were closed. The grocery was busy -- it's obviously the place for locals to hangout and talk. I still think Chama folk would eventually grow to like a Pizza Hut and a Whataburger (for you non-Texans, that's where you go to get *real* burgers).
When I saw 463's number board and front door (what do you call the "door" anyway) sticking out of the snow, I knew I was gonna like the picture.
