Dick Kindig encouraged my dad to copy the pictures for fear of losing them if anything happened to his originals. My dad paid for only developing. I believe he did this with Bob Richardson at the time, so these slides most likely exist at CRRM also.
In dark boxes in his basement, my dad has his photos - back to the 1940s - seen by very few.
With narrow gauge growing in popularity, I'm sure there's many more pictures that may someday make it out of the dark boxes.
