Curley Colligon

April 10, 2007 05:45PM
Was this trip Curley Colligon's last trip as engineer? He was the Leadville-Como hoghead. Fireman Pete Marenelli (sp?) No. 8 on the Como engine board and a promoted engineer himself, went to Denver after the railroad ended in Como.
I believe the engine board was:
Curley Colligon
Bob Thomas
Charlie Thomas
Ernie Anderson
Tom Gibbony
Joe Delaney
J.B. Osier
Pete Marenelli
BTW, I am having a brain freeze on how to spell Curley's and Pete's names, hopefully I got it close.
John Farthings was the engineer between Denver and Como; Bob Terrill, fireman. Thommy St. John was the conductor, Roy Height, trainman.
