Wow! I was there with my parents that same summer. I turned 15 later that year. We rode to Silverton behind the 476. I have never been the same since.
Unfortunately we did not own a decent camera until a year or two later. Also, I'm sad to say that I have no memory of seeing the 464 in steam.
