From the newspapers:
Passenger trains are operated over the pass with two engines to avoid any possibility of being stalled in the snow.
Both the Durango bound and the Alamosa-bound passengers were preceding without difficulty today and no necessity of operating a rotary snow plow.
There were 38 inches of snow on the ground at Cumbres today.
