Depot Trackage-Tricky Business!

It clearly shows that track 2 diverges in a fairly substantial way from track 1, which hugs the platform. I hadn't noticed this before, and I'd like to try to get it right on a MODEL DIORAMA (sorry for raising my voice!!) I'm doing.
I'm glad to know that the arrangement hasn't changed, although in this picture you can see that another switch was added ('68) to lead to the new reverse loop. This shows the original look.
Bill, I'd bet you are right on the distance between the tracks at the very front (bay window) of the depot, but it looks like they begin to diverge right there. This will be tricky.
