I think we met on the Loop when you, Bill M. and Darrell Poole were riding last fall. Dave Adams is the owner and builder of the Durlin branch. I did end up with some pieces of his previous layout which were abandoned in 1991 when a new layout room and the present layout was constructed...hopefully my own layout will someday be able to incorporate some of these parts...if the receiver can get his tail in gear that is...LOL
Durlin is still a terminus on Dave's layout although it has seen some changes in the structures it still gives the operating crews as much fun as when it was created. See the May/ June 1984 Gazette for the article where I lifted the photo and follow the link to an article in Model Railroader for a more current update.
