Uh oh...

Hard to believe Drucker is cashing in the chips! That was the "hobby shop of the stars". It had a great book section and a nice brass case, not to mention an orderly and well-appointed store. Another smaller hobby shop recently closed nearby Torrance. Is Whistle Stop in Pasadena now it for the LA area?
Hobby stores have been in trouble for some time. The little shops are almost gone; the scuttlebutt is the big shops are in trouble. Is this a sign that they too will be soon gone? Are hobbyists buying direct? No new faces entering the hobby? Lots of unanswered questions in this troubling trend.
