You can find a number of photos of the Almont bridge at the Denver Public Libary Western History collection. The local newspapers reported that the Almont bridge was to be saved for use on a rural road when the line was abandoned in 1955, but I do not know if that happened or where it went if it did.

It is necessary to paint all steel bridges on the Colorado lines this coming summer, and I wish you would arrange to submit AFE covering paint required to paint steel bridges on your division, two coats using Detroit Graphite for the first coat, Notrac Olive Green for the second coat.
