Looking up the roster of C-26s the only engine to last until the 50s was engine 605. All the other engines in the class were gone in the 20s and 30s with only the 605 around to 7/51, when it was sold to the Victor American Fuel CO.
This info came from Steam in the Rockies by the Colorado Railroad Museum 1963.
