That would have been the last run west over Marshall Pass by the D&RGW on 2 May 1955. One of the cabooses was for several photographers who had made arrangements to ride the last train. Machines of Iron has released a VHS tape of containing color movie film shot that day. It's either the "Gunnison" tape or "Around the Narrow Gauge Circle". Don't know if it's available on DVD. -- Ed
