Thanks for this exciting news. It's reassuring to see multiple rail preservation groups/companies working in concert to see these special events come together. The 315's efforts and progress are to be commended. Hopefully more groups can learn from your example in the future.
This last week I've been perusing some British preservation sites (Bluebell Railway, North Yorkshire Moors and Welsh Highlands (2' gauge) and it is simply amazing how extensive their efforts are over there to preserve not just the locomotives and rolling stock but to finance the reconstruction of abandoned lines to first class standards. Hopefully we will see more of the same here in the states so that individual groups with a locomotive like the 315 will have multiple places to operate and demostrate their locomotive.
