On the RGS list, the question was asked about the lens in the caboose markers. Mainly about the color placement. I was trying to remember the markers we used at the CRRM on the train (although we had several) and I think they had red front and rear and green to the sides. I am probably wrong - we rarely lit them the color didn't show during the day. I am thinking these markers came from one of the D&RGW passenger trains. RGS caboose 0404 had a different set of markers and I believe they had amber lenses instead of green - maybe amber to the front as well.
So what is the "normal" lens placement for the D&RGW and RGS. I want to share this with the folks over there.
