I think a lot of guys on here would like to know how to find one of those brides that are willing to spend their wedding day riding up the mountain behind steam...
Actually, I have three serious questions:
(1) Who should I bribe for a cab ride?
(2) Would it be possible to photograph around the shop area?
(3) Is it possible to find out which locomotive(s) are running on a particular day, in advance?
When I visited in 2005, I managed to ride (behind the heisler) on a Friday, then I came back the next day and photographed the triple truck shay on its four runs -- the fourth run being a wedding special.
