A couple of notes about my earlier post:
1. We addopted that proceedure after the thread you mentioned appeared on this forum. We took the best ideas presented in the thread, did a little word processing to fit our situation and addopted the proceedure. To my way of thinking, that's the best thing about this forum.
2. I should give credit to Linn Moedinger, as most of the proceedure came from his contribution to the thread.
3. The comment about the fireman only doing the test if supervised by the hoestler or engineer, is specific to our operation at the CRRM. I suspect that most railroads consider it a duty of the fireman.
