Glad to see you enjoyed our web site, work is just getting started again on the project, winter was a killer so far. As for funding we have had a great relationship with the CHS on the project we have had some donations from indavidulas (don't mind the spelling) near $100,000.00 mark and some others in the $30,000.00 range also City of Durango and other local companies I'm sure I missed quite a few.
Hope is to have in service this spring on the D&S.
Since we started the project in 2000 we are nearing the $500,000.00 mark on money spent, we had a few tough times when projected $$ doubled for certain items, but we seem to get it done.
We actually end up some work days with more people than we need but we find things for them to do.
We lost our Treasure after Christmas (big lose), Henry was the kind of person who would tackel any job no matter how small and he was skinney enough to crawl and work under the locomotive.
We now have about 200 members about 10 from overseas but could still use more support.
