Rotary OY with 488-484 called Alamosa 11:00 PM, depart 11:30 PM.
Santa Fe Branch:
Engine 452 and ditcher OX had been working several days Embudo Barranca area, ditching and dumping material on fills. On this date ran extra Espanola to Alamosa account ditcher break down. Tied up Alamosa 7:05 PM
After train 425, with 478, arrived Santa Fe, 478 derailed in yard, all drivers, run through open switch.
Engine 452 and tool cars called Alamosa at 8:20 PM, depart 10:15 PM.
Crested Butte Branch:
Rotary OO, with 460-474, called Gunnison 10:30 AM. They report Slate Cut Slide had depths 5 to 10 feet and was at MP 312. Arrived Crested Butte 4:30 PM. Returned and tie up Gunnison 12:30 AM.
