I am planning a trip to Durango for the winter Cascade exursion, I have ridden the train three or four times in the summer, but when I was younger I was to amazed to pay attention to where the Cascade Canyon marker was. So I guess what I am asking is how far up does this trip go and is it worth $45, driving 4 hours,and taking a two year old to see? Or is it like the Thomas and Polar Express trains that barely make it out of the City Limits.
