Yes it is a really nice facility, spent almost everyday from before Christmas to New Years working on setting up the shop. We had some sun and also snow along with some liquid sunshine. Currently we are working on 1912 Spokane, Portland & Seattle Ry. wood coach #218 built by Barney & Smith, a circa. 1910 four cubic yard wood dump car built by Kilbourne & Jacobs and used by Polson Logging and Rayonier, and also ex- U.S. Army Whitcomb-Baldwin RS-4TC diesel #4012 which is having its radiator repaired. Yep only rain down my neck was when I walked to my truck.
Hopefully by end of the year we will have our 4 track storage and display building underway. The length will be around 350 feet if its enclosed and around 500 feet if the sides are left open. We have a nearly one million dollar grant from the State of Washington to build this along with some smaller grants including $75,000 from the Paul Allen Foundation.
