Just got a call from an insider buddy, who said the BNSF rotary train ( One rotary, three EMD's and a tail end rotary) are headed south over the joint line headed for CO SPs, Pueblo, Trinidad and to Raton, and then east into the jaws of the storm. Rotarys are believed to be from Alliance, NE.
Train call was for 2:40 but it might be 3:30 PM before they actually move. Sounds like an interesting lash up. Nothing like having a rotary on each end so you can plow yourself out.
Would love to see a picture of this rig.
I guess the snows that have 'clobbered' Denver have moved out into Okla, and Kan, and are just raising hell. Good luck to the snow grews...and be safe.
