FWIW a batch of 20 of these 2-8-2s went to Queensland (42" gauge)and two survive, both of which will run again.
Queensland rail are restoring the one out of their museum and are even having a brand new boiler built.
the other is on the Zig Zag Tourist Railway near sydney NSW and is slowly being returned to use.
