Glad someone enjoyed it also. I used to photograph these things on the Rheine-Nordeich Mole line near the Dutch Border. You could make out the distinctive 3-cylinder odd exhaust as it accelated up to speed, but after about 20-25 mph became a roar like the video clip you saw. They were neat engines, and would routinely run 70-80 mph. On Easter we were at the Rheine Shed and there about 70 engines there for the day! What a sight. 2-10-0's(Kreigloks), 2-10-0 3-cylinders, 4-6-2 3-cylinders, and 2-8-2 oil burners. This was the last stronghold of Pacifics in WEST Germany ending May 1975. I was there in March, plus in 1974, but the last pilgrimage was March 1974.
