Eh... Guys,
The date after the weight was the date that it was last weighed on a certified scale.
We used to change those dates all the time when we had a weighmaster in Cheyenne.
It has nothing to do with brakes or rebuilding.
It has to do with the weight.
Remember, the TARE weight is extremely important to the Railroad. All Railroad revenue is based on the ton-mile (what it costs to move one ton one mile). It keeps both the Railroad and the Customer honest.
