Thanks Carlos. I have learned a lot of details from your shop reports and posts realting to them.
16 carloads to the mile works out to 330 feet per car ( if my memory serves me correcly @ 5280 feet per mile ). 15 carloads gets you 352 feet.
The track really looks great, although I gotta admit, it makes me sad to see the "narrow gauge look" of sagebrush and forlorn grass going away.
Business is business, and if first class track saves dollars in equipment maintenance, ....
