Correct. 497 was the extra(third)engine we got for the weekend. Unfortunately it only made it as far as Lobato trestle on Saturday morning, whereas CMO John Bush took it back to Chama. Thus we had 484 and 488 the rest of the weekend. You could here a distict pop as it was making a runby. We were all standing on a hillside opposite Lobato Trestle(somewhat below and left of the former Lobo Lodge). It was then that I took my name badge, and scratched out "Visions of Steam" and penned in "Snakebit Enterprises"!!!

PS John Bush or Earl could chime in with more details on 497 and such. By the way we had a 3-engine train when the 497 had its problems. It was a doubleheader and rear pusher as I recall.
