I remember seeing a picture of this bus in Trains magazine back in the early to mid 1980s. It was an old bus (50's era or so) that was equipped with rail wheels and, if I recall correctly, it had a turntable built into the floor. When the bus need to turn round, they dropped the turntable and jacked the entire bus into the air. Then the crew would walk the bus around 180 degrees and drop it back on the rails... presto, the bus is ready to return from whence it came!!
The bus looked very much like a bus, it didn't even look "kitbashed" except for the wheels. It ran in northern Manitoba or Ontario.
